CONFIRMED

Galán and Chingotto to miss Kuwait Major after injury withdrawal

First reported October 25, 2026 · last verified November 7, 2026

Confirmed: see the Updates section below for the confirming announcement.

The Kuwait Major will go ahead without Ale Galán and Fede Chingotto. The pair have withdrawn before their opening match after Galán announced that an injury would prevent him from competing.

Their absence takes a leading contender out of the men’s draw and denies them the opportunity to add points at a Major. Galán expressed hope of returning to court soon, but his statement gave no return date or details of the injury.
